MALOSTRANSKÁ – VELKÉ POPOVICE

Everything for a quiet life outside the city

Project location

Quiet location with great accessibility

The Malostranská project - four generous family houses are located in the outskirts, quiet part of the village and in direct contact with the surrounding nature. There is a possibility of undisturbed walks to the nearby meadows with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. A great advantage is also the location of the houses of the project in the old housing estate, where no major construction will take place.

The project is located in a pleasant access to the D1 motorway, a direct link to the capital, however, the project site is undisturbed peace and quiet.

In touch with nature

This intimate project of four family houses is designed primarily for families who are looking for privacy, peace, security and the opportunity to go every day to the countryside or enjoy a variety of sports and cultural activities - all within 20 minutes from Prague.

Attractions in our locality

Horní Maršov Village

The village of Horní Maršov and its part Albeřice is generally known for its proximity to the mountain resort Pec pod Sněžkou (12 km) or Jánské lázně (9 km), but also for its own interesting surroundings and local opportunities.

The dominant feature of the village is the massive neo-Gothic church, also called the "new" church = Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The architect of the church was one of the most important Czech architects of the time, Josef Schulz, who also designed the National Theatre, the National Museum and the Rudolfinum in Prague.

Hiking

Velké Popovice is located in the Velkopopovicko Nature Park - in the popular Lada's Fairy Tale Region - situated in the area between Prague and the Sázava River. This wooded, undulating area with ponds offers its inhabitants and visitors many possibilities for hiking or cycling. Well-known, popular and sought-after are hiking and cycling trails and a number of nature trails through the undulating forest landscape. These include, for example, the 76 km long circular cycling route through the Josef Lada region (consisting of the popular trails from Pyšel to Dobřejovice and from Strančice to Nové Gryblo), or the Baron Ringhoffer landscape trail.

Sport and culture

The village has one of the oldest ice rinks in Central Bohemia. You can choose for your children and yourself anytime from the regular public skating program. However, you can also find sports activities outside the winter season - children can stretch out in the fresh air every day on several playgrounds with play elements located in the village intravilán (e.g. playground Radost, playground at the school gym, etc.). For lovers of fishing or relaxation, there are the adjacent ponds - part of the village itself.

In Velke Popovice there is neighborly living. Traditional events include a carnival parade, witch burning, children's day, fair, St. Nicholas' Day and balls. A popular and practical pastime is socialising and family healthy shopping at farmers' markets.
