The picturesque town of Kostelec nad Černými lesy offers complete civic amenities and allows comfortable family living in close proximity to nature. There are several schools - Kindergarten, Primary School, Elementary School and Practical School, Czech Agricultural University - Forestry University. Of course there are large supermarkets and small grocery stores, health food, bakery, large drugstores, butcher, pet shop, etc.
Several restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, as well as a bar and a wine bar offer a pleasant atmosphere and a varied menu. Very popular is the centuries-old Černokostelec brewery, which is famous for its excellent cuisine, but also worth mentioning is the brewing museum, where you can learn about the history of Czech beer.
Kostelec nad Černými lesy has general practitioners' surgeries for adults and children, dental surgeries, rehabilitation, internal ambulance, pharmacies, etc. The services include a branch of the Czech Post, Czech Savings Bank, hairdresser, massage, manicure, veterinary surgery.

The surrounding area invites to hiking and cycling trips to the vast Black Forest, where you will find the Wetland Ecosystems Nature Trail and the Arboretum.
The nearby natural swimming pool Vyžlovka is an ideal place to relax in nature, with a beautiful view of the forests of the Voděradské bučiny National Nature Reserve.
Culture and sport
The centre of the town is Smiřický Square, dominated by the Church of the Holy Guardian Angels. The square is also home to the Museum of Pottery, which organises a rich cultural programme, and the eastern side of the square is enclosed by the vast grounds of the Chronokostel Castle, which houses the Faculty of Forestry.
The town regularly organises popular cultural events - the Winter Advent Market, the Autumn Vintage Festival, the Summer Music Encounter, the Spring Street Food Festival and the traditional Ceramics Day.
Kostelec nad Černými lesy has many sporting opportunities, there is an active TJ Sokol, a netball club, an aerobics club, a scout centre Datel, TJ Tatran and SK Kostelec n. Č. Lesy - football club, which this year celebrated 100 years since the founding of the club.
Golfers will appreciate the nearby 18-hole golf course Molitorov, with its classic Polubian landscape with rows of trees or copses. The golf resort has a restaurant, a Finnish sauna and a training school.

The project site is surrounded by the forests of the Voděradské bučin, the valley of the Šembery, Jevanska or Vyžlovka with a natural swimming pool. Thanks to its natural beauty, it is green, healthy and offers a liberating lifestyle, but it is also seamlessly accessible to and from larger cities with all their amenities. From the Red Oak Oasis, you can drive, take the bus and, when connected, take the train anytime. You may not need to travel anywhere often or far, as Kostelec itself offers a wealth of amenities that are constantly developing. But if you do - it won't be a problem. You can reach the Prague Metro station Černý most in 30 minutes by car, and the city centre in about 50 minutes. The bus to the Háje station runs almost directly from the project in just half an hour. From Říčany you can take the train to Prague Main Station in 27 min. In Brod you are by car and bus in 15 min and in Říčany in half an hour.
